Construction of 3 villas THPE with carports

Type: Total enterprise
Architect: Northern workshop
Date: 2021-2022

Orion EG SA has been chosen by the developer for the construction of 3 individual villas delivered keys-in-hand.

This residential project is built in metal structure and benefits from a THPE (Very High Energy Performance) label.

The construction of the villas is carried out in an innovative way using a construction process known as LSF (Light steel framing). Thanks to this process, not only is the implementation time reduced, but the gross floor area is superior to that of a traditional concrete or wood construction.

From the get-go, the architectural intent was to create generous living spaces that are conceived in an innovative way. This was made possible by creating a meshed area overlooking the living room, or with the help of a custom designed central stringer staircase.

Maximizing outdoor spaces to create pleasant gardens and recreational areas was also clearly defined in the specifications. Therefore, the need to create an access to the roof quickly became obvious in order to enjoy a fitted terrace and to benefit from the breathtaking view. Thus, the future occupants will be able to enjoy 360° of sunshine over an additional outdoor space.

More than 600 linear meters of geothermal drilling have been completed on this contruction site since it began in late 2021, and which will be delivery early 2023. The adoption of the LSF process was decisive in terms of construction speed, optimization of interior spaces and, above all, for the multiple advantages that the process offers in terms of energy performance for sustainable building.
